Adding files to xbmc apple tv 2 - teeshapie - 2012-07-20 I have jailbroken my apple tv 2 with xbmc and loaded it on my apple tv. I am using windows 7 and I have two external harddrive which I would like to hook up to stream to my apple tv. One is movies and one is tv shows. How would I add these sources to my xbmc list on apple tv? Also can I update xbmc on apple tv to add new episodes of the tv shows or a new show onto xbmc RE: Adding files to xbmc apple tv 2 - Ned Scott - 2012-07-20 Same as any XBMC installation when accessing drives over the network: Be sure to share the files/folders on the host computer (use Windows Sharing/SMB) then follow: Adding videos to the library (wiki) (at least the parts about sources).
