SSD drive for an HTPC - Balinus - 2012-08-01

Hello! I'm thinking about upgrading my HTPC with a SSD drive.

Is this one a good choice? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233266

I will only install W7+XBMC and that's it. I'm on a budget also, so i can't go much higher than 70$ all included.

Thanks a lot guys!

This would be a much better choice for your $70 budget: http://www.amazon.ca/Crucial%C2%A0CT064M4SSD2-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-Drive/dp/B004W2JKWG/. 30GB is not enough for W7+XBMC without serious headache.

oh, I thought 30-32GB was enough.

Good find on Amazon.ca. For a little more, I'm willing to have 64GB! So Crucial is seen as a good brand?

Thanks.

+1 go with 64GB,...you won't be sorry. You'd be surprised how things can "magically" get installed.
