'Too many connections' error - Sranshaft - 2012-08-14
I'm consistently seeing the following error code when trying to view the forums around 3 to 6 PM Australian time. I never had this problem before the site switched to MyBB. I didn't see a thread opened about this so I thought I'd post one in case this wasn't a known problem.
Code:
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.
SQL Error:
1040 - Too many connections
Query:

I see this daily, but only for 30-45 minutes. I'm assuming that's when they are backing up the forums?

The main problem is the wiki backup which takes up the whole server so not only forum is down but also the wiki and the xbmc site.
We know this happens and it will be looked at as soon as possible

Ah, cool. Yeah, it never lasts too long. It's really only when I really need to look something up on the wiki that I get the error but that's just my luck I guess.
