Recently added video files - dieselboy27 - 2012-08-24
I have enabled the option to show recently added videos. However it only seems to add ones from the library and not the ones from my video files that have not been added to the library. Is there any way to have this feature show recently added files?

I don't believe so. The recently added is specifically for things added to the library. If you don't add something to your library then it doesn't get into the database. So while XBMC can show you a directory listing of files, you don't get any of the "advanced" options that come from having the item in the database.
Is there a specific reason you don't add those other files to the library?
