Freezes with aeon nox 3.5 on Eden - aangelsmaster - 2012-08-26
Hello,
As a user of xbmc-passion said me, i post here my problems with aeon nox 3.5 on XBMC Eden.
I love this skin but i found that it was certainly because of it that my XBMC froze very often as i was entering/leaving a menu, refresh a scrap, launch a movie or sometimes even on startup.
I've tried the GIT version and it seems there is no problem with it (until now). (Except that my artists logos doesn't appear, as my TV series logos in "plex banner" view (they appear in aeon nox 3.5).
Here is my debug log (it as frozen at the end).

Hello
I thought i bad thé final version! I took on xbmc.org, i took thé la test stable version.
As i read moviesets script could freeze xbmc on a passion-xbmc thread, i tried deactivate it but it didn't change anything...

You do have the final (stable) version of XBMC 11.0 (Eden), but in the log you provided the MovieSets script seems activated. Try uninstalling it altogether via the Add-Ons menu, or just delete the following hidden folder on your PC: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.moviesets
P.S.: By the way, you started XBMC at 14:30, and it froze at 21:48, am I reading this right? No offence, but a freeze after 7.5 hours is not exactly what one would call "often".

Oh yes in this log i had reactivated moviesets because it didn't change anything. But i Will try to remove it like you said.
For the "often" the problem is That it doesn't freeze regulary. This session was exceptionnaly long indeed.
As i said it could freeze on xbmc startup, sometimes when i go in "movies", when launch à movie (often) after a few seconds, sometimes refreshing a scrap. I can affirm That it did it REALLY often and i think i've got à bit less hair now! XD
P.S: i'm sorry for my poor english. And my &%+_ iPad dictionnary is set on french and sometimes it change my words...xD

I got the same issues like aangelsmaster. I rid off everythinks looked as script.movie-sets. No results. Aeon is crashing when I'm trying to scrap something. It's strange but with Night skin I have no problems.

Can't do anything with that log. No debug turned on
Start with a fresh install without anything added but Aeon Nox
NO extra plugins or whatever. Could be the mypicsdb plugin too that is causing it

I run actually under AEON NOX (GIT) 3.6 and moviesets activated and it seems that i don't have crashes anymore (just once).
But i didn't have to make an intense scrap as i did before. So i have to wait a short time before being sure of that.^^
