There is an option "wait for network" in the settings addon.

Yeh. oE settings or settings. It's in there somewhere.

Hi,

Which remote controller are you using for Nuc under Openlec ?

Thanks

I'm using a Harmony 200.

@jammyb

Have you a receiver or the NUC have IR abilities ?

thanks for the replay man,.. I turned off both wireless and wired networks altogether, and it still has the delay.
Exactly where can you either wait for network, or add a delay? I haven't seen that option. Sad

thanks

Only the new Haswell NUC have IR abilities.

I modded IR into my Celeron NUC. See the build thread in my sig.

Nope. Mine had full on/off capability and remote with internal IR Tongue

I would love to get my hands on one of these:

Ok, but you have modded yours, i mean the abilities available without modding.

RE: Intel NUC - HTPC possibilities (Sandy/Ivy Bridge) - Noexicaise - 2013-09-20

@jammyb: Great ! Good job ! But to complex for me...

Actually i use this one ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rii-2-4GHz-Wireless-Keyboard-Touchpad/dp/B004FSFYG8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379701457&sr=8-1&keywords=Rii ) but i have a lot of issues. ( but no problem with Pivos, so,i think it's an openelec problem)

So i search for an alternative, if someone can help me...;-)

RE: Intel NUC - HTPC possibilities (Sandy/Ivy Bridge) - -DDD- - 2013-09-20

What OE Version do you use? Do you have the Problems with OE 3.0 too?
I use this one with OE 3.0, but it's a bit bigger than Rii:

Open elec 3.2.0 - x64

@-DDD- : And you have any issues ? Which keyboard have you choose on settings ?

PS: Sorry for english

RE: Intel NUC - HTPC possibilities (Sandy/Ivy Bridge) - -DDD- - 2013-09-21

I haven't any issues with 3.0.6, but i heard in forums that there were any with 3.1 and 3.2.
That's the reason i asked you, which version you use and if you can try the 3.0.6.

no Problem, my english is also bad Smile

RE: Intel NUC - HTPC possibilities (Sandy/Ivy Bridge) - fritsch - 2013-09-21

3.0.6 has no deinterlacing support. So if you want to watch LiveTV, that does not look that nice.
3.2.1 will be released the next days. That one solves some nasty last minute bugs, we put in.

Btw. 3.0.6 ships with a patch that disables RC6 powersaving on Celeron Nucs, cause they just froze at that time with this feature enabled. So, you upgrade to 3.2.1, make sure RC6 is enabled again.
