- acuum81 - 2005-08-06 hi, i think i first saw this in jrivers media center. a "party mode" that you can enable when you have friends over for some beers and want to listen to all kinds of music. my idea for xbmc: - you can not start playing a song as you like, but instead it goes into a playlist. you can not skip songs, delete songs (not without a password or some key-presses) - if you select the same song multiple times, a note comes up that this song has been played in the last 10 or so songs, and will not be added until it's been 10 songs between. - xbmc will lock onto a specified folder eks. my music/albums/ on the computer. so your friends can't start playing games, videos etc. you get the idea, anybody up for it? please come with some input on this idea! i think this would a great feature in the already great xbmc!! - acuum - Loto_Bak - 2005-08-06 use the search feature in the forums http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin....;t=2725 http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin....t=14429 - xbsv - 2005-08-10 just hide your remote / controller away from your drunken friends so that they cant skip your choons....thats problem #1 & #3 solved. :d problem 2: stay tuned, am currently developing a script that will try to incorporate how often one song gets played and how often. i know that doesnt help you just now but i'll post up a link soon. |
