wrong format - kamloops49 - 2012-09-21
when i go to watch videos on my tv using my samsung dvd player i get alarm saying wrong format all my videos movies are mp4 one video i have in avi seems to work just fine is there an option i am missing ?

I'm convinced even before he replies, that he has a divx compatible dvd player and now that the scene changed to .mp4 (at least for tv shows), hes wondering why it won't play anymore. The real head scratcher is why it was originally posted in the Windows Support forum...... of the XBMC forum!

Yeah, that makes sense. I kinda skimmed past the "DVD player" part, thought maybe the movies were just on a disc.
Can join the dots to Windows - most people run it, no? As for XBMC....high Google rank for media player related problems?
I notice since we've been replying this has been moved to "Off topic" - evidently the mods thought the same as you!
