Changing XBMCBuntu Default login account - peeves - 2012-09-28 How can i change the default login account for XBMCBuntu. I don't want to use the initial default account with full permission in file manager, some folder must be denied access for this account. please help me ! RE: Changing XBMCBuntu Default login account - artrafael - 2012-09-28 You can switch over to the XBMCbuntu desktop, launch a terminal session (Start menu > System Tools) and use the adduser command to define a new user and password. You can then log-out of your current session and log-in with your newly created username/password to confirm it works. See here for some examples: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/ubuntu/add-a-user-on-ubuntu-server/ RE: Changing XBMCBuntu Default login account - peeves - 2012-09-29 (2012-09-28, 22:12)artrafael Wrote: You can switch over to the XBMCbuntu desktop, launch a terminal session (Start menu > System Tools) and use the adduser command to define a new user and password.
