understood, a location issue but not because of geo-blocking, sounds a sensible reason to me.  I´ve downloaded the test version but I´m away and wont get it tested until tomorrow morning, will report back asap.

thinking about it, the idea that the mp4 url though presented is not available would also affect it on pc too right ? yet pc works fine.

Need the kodi debug log with 2.4.1b to see whats happening now, please
As I said in my earlier post, the PC Browser only uses the m3u8 and not the mp4. so will work fine.

debug log for 2.4.1b  -  https://paste.kodi.tv/ligoponafe.kodi
when i said pc works fine I meant with using kodi on pc the addon works fine..but then i really don´t have the knowledge to understand all the code properly anyway, so i´ll leave it to you Smile

So the release version of the addon works fine on Windows+Kodi or the patched one?
I am suspecting a possible user-agent issue on non Windows Kodi if that is the case. I can see that it is checking if it can open mp4 file first and then switching to m3u8 correctly. From your log
Code:

the release version works fine on windows-kodi, and I only tried the patched one on LE.

That is troubling, need to figure out how to simulate, as it works fine on my CoreElec device

If I can be of any use I´m happy to help with whatever you need

I´ve had a proper dig about and I havent got any device to stick CoreElec on to try, although there´s little point as you already know that works.  I do have a big stack of boxes with LE and AE, you´re welcome to have whatever if you want.  Again, if can help at all I´m happy to do so.

I've also been having issues with the add-on not being able to access any videos on an android platform.
On my phone via WiFi the videos will not play but if I change to mobile data they play fine.

Here is a link to my log hopefully it will help you resolve this issue.

Thanks for a great add-on and your support.

edit:clean log now submitted apologies for any problems this may have caused. Hope it can help @gujal find the issue

Thanks

CoreElec is LE for Amlogic platform, so not that different to LE or AE that you are using. It is puzzling on why you would get HTTP 403 Forbidden on LE/AE but not on Windows, as all of them use cCurl, which is part of base Kodi code to retrieve the stream

RE: [RELEASE] DailyMotion.com - Movies, TV, Music, User-Clips, 3D and Livestreams - Samoozle - 2020-01-17

I have no idea, been driving me up the wall though.  All I can say is that since Dailymotion stopped providing mp4 it hasn´t worked since on LE.  It certainly looks like there is something that doesn´t tick all the boxes and just flat out refuses the connection with the 403 forbidden.  The m3u dailymotion proxy address given in the log, pasted into a browser, downloads fine.  So what is being forbidden is where I would look.
