Preferred subtitle language for external files - HeresJohnny - 2012-10-14 I've noticed that the language selection for external files doesn't seem to work - but that's probably because I don't know the mechanism it uses to determine the language. If it uses the codepage, bad luck for me, since I format all subtitles as utf-8. I'd like to suggest that the selection take into account the 2-letter ISO countrycode present in the title of the subtitle file. Example: title.en.srt -> English title.de.srt -> German title.ja.srt -> Japanese As far as I know, that's a pretty established way to save several local external subs, and the XBMC subtitle downloader already adds langauage extensions. Thanks! RE: Preferred subtitle language for external files - Martijn - 2012-10-14 don't post in development if you are doing a suggestion RE: Preferred subtitle language for external files - HeresJohnny - 2012-10-14 Sorry... I thought I was in the Feature suggestion forum... Done the booboo again in the next thread... please correct. |
