Wireless connection to server - mknabster - 2012-10-15
I'm posting this in the Windows forum as it pertains to Windows 7 mainly, but i have tested it with Mac as well, and it does the same thing. But what's happening is that when i try to connect to my file server through XBMC to stream movies wirelessly, say for a movie night outside, I can see the server, but it just doesn't save the login i put in. Now if i exit XBMC and access the file server through Windows Explorer, i can stream through VLC no problem, but XBMC rejects the login each time i try. Mac OSX gives me the same issue. Now if i wire it into my network, then XBMC can access it and stay connected. Is there a setting i have to tweak for it to work properly?
