Playing DVD's - WARNING: could not find codec parameters - tlmiller - 2012-10-30

So I was playing with Chakra and it uses XBMC as it's default media player. While a little larger than I would normally prefer, it's REALLY gorgeous. So once I figured out how to turn off subtitles, I decided I wanted to use it on my Debian boxes (wheezy/sid), but I'm having issues. I've got it installed and it'll launch, but as soon as I try to watch a DVD, it crashes. The only relevant thing in the crashlog I was able to find is "WARNING: could not find codec parameters for /dev/sr0". I know I've got all the various codecs that should be needed installed, since I can then launch smplayer and watch the DVD without any issues. Any ideas?

Can't post the error log due to character limit.

Here's the crashlog.

You are running a old alpha build. Best is to try updating to a recent nightly build.
Most likely this is fixed

That sucks then, that's what's in the repos for Debian Sid, so I guess I'll just have to stay with smplayer for a while. Oh well, thanks for taking a look!
