Fanart/Posters/Banners look terrible - deadperfect - 2012-12-07

I'm running OpenELEC 3.0b2 on a Raspberry pi, and I use Media Companion to scrape all of my TV shows and movies. I've added my TV shows and movies to my library but all the metadata looks terrible. I've verified that images are high resolution and look great on my Windows machine. Why does XBMC appear to be compressing my images?

What do you have in advancedsettings.xml?
These limit the sizes of posters/fanart:
<fanartres>512</fanartres>
<imageres>256</imageres>

You can increase these sizes (and clean/rescan) and quality will improve, but you may find some views (especially the wall ones) may fail with memory errors (especially on 256M part).

I switched to Raspbmc and the art looks great. Thx!
