Apparently error 22 is for any HTTP error of 400 and above. When I put the link in Chrome it asks me for. Username and password so I presume that is the issue.

I managed to fix this in the add-on by editing scraper.py in the resources/lib folder of the add-on. Change URL_PROTO to have a value of 'http:' instead of 'https:'
All good now.

Thx for the work on the app here. in EU it can be hard to find any kind of app that does this - probably becouse movies come out at a different time. no trailers app on ios-devices for instance.
Any chance to make an option so the app can jump directly to latest trailers. im unsure the other categories work or are relevant. seems very random what pops up here.
Also is there an idea behind the app only showing a few trailers before the user has to click a "next" icon? is it becouse it will load to slow if its limited to just a few. other kodi-apps seem to manage with way longer lists and that seems like a much faster way to scroll trough items.

the site hd-trailers.net had an issue with http+https that prevented many pictures from being correctly retrieved. But it was corrected som time ago. Everything seems ok now.

Fox is right: if you go to //www.hd-trailers.net you'll see that the web page is organized this way. Modifying this will make the app slower... if now the addon shows the contents in N seconds, for every page added add also N seconds to the count.

I hate to resurrect a thread from the dead but I've recently switched over to HD Trailers after my apple trailer add on stopped working. However I don't have thumbnails displayed for some reason. Looking at the logs it may possibly be because there is no protocol listed when trying to access the image.
