12.0 Release Candidate 2 showing as RC1 - skaro1963 - 2012-12-21

I (think) I have installed the new RC2. I used the step by step wiki installation through putty and also tried installing through nitoTV.

When I go into System --> System Information it reads: XBMC 12.0-RC1 Git:20121219-44a9812 (Compiled: Dec 19 2012)

Should it be saying 12.0-RC2 now? If so, any ideas what I am doing wrong?

That build is the one without the version bump commit. Will ask

So it is definitely the RC2 version bug it just misses the change in tagging.

OK, so there is nothing I need to do to it? Are you saying I have RC2 correctly installed?

Correct

Excellent, for once I had done something right then.

Thanks a lot Team-XBMC.

I've just installed the latest version and my System Information now reads:...

XBMC 12.0-RC2 Git:20121219-74b907c (Compiled: Dec 12 2012)

Thanks again.
