What video settings are people using for live tv? - moontan77 - 2013-01-01 Folk I am using an acer 3600 with vdpau and am struggling to find video settings (interlacing etc) that work for all SD and HD channels. At the moment i have Deinterlace video set to auto, deinterlace method set to VDPAU - Bob and Video scaling method set to Auto. Even though it seems to be fluid and most natural the picture is still flickery/jumpy. Does xbmc actually have any settings at the moment that allow you to watch live tv as if you were watching a normal satellite or cable receiver? I am using openelec at the moment. Re: What video settings are people using for live tv? - ant_thomas - 2013-01-02 I'm using an original Atom/ION system for Live TV and have been for about 2 years. Bob seems to be the smoothest for deinterlacing. And I think linear for scaling, though it might just be on Auto. This is good for SD and HD content. |
