Movie File names Problem please help - SimplyMac2012 - 2013-01-20 I own a Apple TV 1st Generation i upgraded the Hard Drive to 250Gb no problem running 3.0.2 perfect Then i bought from firecore the software to jail brake the ATV Silver fine no problems so far I added a couple of movies from my iTunes library brilliant , but when i installed XBMC 11.0 - Eden and tried to find movies problems occurred. I didnt realise that ATV puts them into folders in the Media Folder i.e 00 to 99 so i went looking for the movies when i found them there names had been changed Is this normal ?? Adam RE: Movie File names Problem please help - Ned Scott - 2013-01-20 For the internal iTunes library, yes. Apple does some weird stuff on how it stores those files. You should be able to add files using some other method, like using a file transfer tool like Cyberduck (wiki). Then just use XBMC or Firecore's player to play back the movies in a folder structure that you want. |
