Very slow video on Live TV - Velocentric - 2013-01-27
I 'm not sure exactly where to post this but I do use Next PVR for a backend and the problem seems limited to playing back from that source.
My 64bit Win 7 laptop is struggling to playback Live TV video. Other video sources on this machine are fine and also other wireless devices in my house are great .XBMC on Macbook Pros. A wired Desktop. (Sucks on my Kindle HD Fire though)
The wireless "N" adapter is reporting 54Mbps connection speed and my wifi is a wicked fast Cisco 802.11ac. I have Norton security suite and suspect there may a setting I'm missing.
I'm going to experiment with this some more but would love if anyone has recommendations for security settings etc.. that I might try. Love the Next PVR/ XBMC Frodo RC3 combo so far.
