Im wanting to use an external player because the xbmc one isnt cutting it for me (no 720/1080p etc),
But I need one that can play from my NAS and looks good, AND I want one that has a good interface and feels nice to use!
any reccomendations?

MX or Dice seem to be the best ones. Some XBMC members are getting some Rockchips hardware, I hear, so hopefully you'll be seeing the internal player working in the future.

No external player will ever give you the same look, feel and capabilities of the internal player. XBMC on Android is still quite early in the dev process.
