Hi , Just set up xbmc with Tv backend and wondered if anyone knows or a plugin that detects Commercials from a live TV stream ( From my TV card ) - So i could have screen just go blank or some play music until the ads finish? Thanks.

If you have a powerful enough backend, then mythtv will commercial detect on the fly.
However you do not say what backend you are using.
