Hi all,
since nightly build and onwards XBMCSetup-20130302-6c06a32-master.exe i discovered a misteriuos popup cycle for my iMon device (remote control).
"New device configured - iMon HID device"
"Device removed - iMon HID device"
and the both are looping..
(Luckily my iMon RC is still working.)

I didn´t get this error message loops from XBMCSetup-20130301-f42873c-master.exe

I just installed the latest nightly after being on the last stable version for a while. I experienced the same thing.
After a bit of looking around I found this:

It will probably get fixed in the next couple of days I guess.

I experiance the same issue. Even when I updated with the last nightly "XBMCSetup-20130518-0da9a79-master". The loop will start after enabeling the "Enable joystick and gamepad support"

What I'm getting is "New device configured - iMon HID device" every time I run XBMC. I don't have joystick support enabled, it's even grayed out.
I just installed a new computer with XBMC 12.3 and the latest iMON 8.something. I never had this popup before with my old system running XBMC 12.2 and I forgot what version of iMON I was running. I hate unnecessary popups that aren't important.
Is there a way to suppress this message?

I checked out xbmc-13.0-Gotham_alpha11, but the same stupid popup is there. It's a pity because in that new version there are so many new useful features added to an already awesome product.
Please - developers - remove this particular popup or give us a way to control/suppress such popups altogether.

I have posted the problem in the development forum. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=181803. Lets hope the developers will solve the issue. If you can compile from the source code then remove the code line as mentioned in that thread.
