have you tried to change the view option in the left slide-out menu?
Just try to push twice left, and there are the different views.
Even though we maintain the skin, I never used the games/programs view, so can't at this moment help you further.

I'm also having this problem. The slide-out menu only allows you modify playback options.

Same thing with videos. I've also enabled fan art, right list view etc in skin settings view options. Also, there's no option to enable these with the "games sub folder" within skin settings

well there is also another slideout menu when you navigate left, and there are the view opions.
