Raspberry Pi - RaspBMC - XBMC - Dreambox. Help wanted! - Slackern - 2013-03-26

Hello,

I've just bought a raspberry pi and Im using RaspBMC. A friend of mine got a dreambox wich he can share his channellist from but I got some problem getting it to work with tuxbox.

I've entered the global ip adress and password and port correctly. I can see the entire channellist aswell on my raspberry. But when Im trying to watch a channel I get an error saying:

"Failed to play media"
"one or more objects didnt play"
"Controll the logfile for details"

(It's translated so it might not be in that order if someone else got the same message as me)

Or isnt it possible to run dreambox global with xbmc? Do you have to have it locally ?

But I am connected to his dreambox via global ip-adress, and the channel list is showing plenty of channels. Smile
