This can't happen.. but .. could you check the program folder for MediaInfo.dll? If not existing.. tell me..if it exists.. right click it and find that unlock button .. I dont know its real name.. must be something like Unlock Downloaded file or so..

Also try: Running program as admin and check if those videos can even be acessed from the PC you run my program of.

Test both, didn't work.
When i use local DB (not my MySQL one) it's working and i see the log scrap media info.
With MySql, nothing happens (movies and shows are here, but nothing about media infos)
Films are on the same machine but i use SMB paths in XMBC sources (i have to with a centralized media library I think)
Some other apps works with my config as Yatse (shows media info). I would love to use your grat app as a Yatse-web interface of XBMC...
Thanks for the help.

Found a few more things..

1.) In TV Shows, if you add say season 3 first, and then later add season 1 and 2.. when generating the HTML it sorts by ID and not by Season\Title. Thus Season 3 comes first in the episode Details list. Can you make it always sort by Season order?

2.) I added a movie and it threw a Critical error downloading the Fan Art. I tried removing the Poster art and re-downloading the artwork again, however now it just re-downloads the poster and doesn't even bother trying to get the Fan art. Is there a way to force it to re download the fan art, or at least make it realize it isn't there? I double checked the Fan Art folder and it definitely is not there. It does exist in my XBMC library.

3.) On some of my SD movies, it does not pull in the video codec code for the movie properly. For example MPEG or X264, others it works fine. How does the scraper read the file for this information? Are my files missing the code type in the properties of the file maybe?
<div class="qBar"> <Right Here Should be Video Codec code> <img class="qIcon" alt="720x576" src="./images/icons/480p.png"/><img class="qIcon" alt="AC3 Audio Codec" src="./images/icons/ac3.png"/><img class="qIcon" alt="6 Audio Channels" src="./images/icons/ac_6.png"/>

Thanks for the help
1) well yes.. i sort by ID. .thats why .. its almost the only way to do that.. but I will look if theres a better way again..
2) Hm.. are you sure the fan art folder does really not contain any image of that video?.. Also try defining it manually.. by putting a jpg inside the images folder with the right name.. sometimes the images can't be fetched of their website because it bugs or timeouts (not a problem with my program)

3) Download: http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo and right click the movie then hit "Mediainfo", then paste the sutff into pastebin.com and send it to me.
(because its probably a video codec i didnt add to the program yet.. some very rare one.. or so)

Update: I successfully set up a test software I wrote.. maybe we will have in-browser streaming of the videos soon Smile.. but don't expect it too early.. its still very.. well .. basic

1.) Cool thx. Only other option I guess would be to remove Season 1 from the library and then have it re-ID all of them. A Sort fix would be a proper solution though.

2.) How do I know what the name of the Fanart file name should be? It looks completely random? I verified it's not there by simply sorting my folder by Date Modified. I can see the other art that was uploaded at same time, but none for that movie.

3.) Here is the mediainfo.. as a FYI it seems to only happen on movies created by MakeMKV from a DVD.

2.) Cool I downloaded the fanart I wanted and put in the fanart folder, however it did not show. I had to manually add the path in the HTML for the picture. I'm guessing until the download through the program works this the only workaround?

3.) The audio graphic works fine.. Its just missing the first one.. the SD > DTS > 5.1 buttons all show. Just missing the X264 or Mpeg etc one.. I left the media info portion of that off to shorten the post.. lol

I have Handbrake.. Depends on what I want to rip, Handbrake takes hours, MakeMKV takes like 5 min if that (DVD). I'm not compressing the Video, as SD is shitty as it is already... and space is not an issue for me.

Thanks for the help

RE: MyXBMC HTML Generator: Show others your library with style. - booker88 - 2013-09-07

Actually the latest version of mediainfo (v.7.6.4) could not correctly id quite a few of my files either. I regressed to .7.6.3 and had better results.

You can download the 7.6.3 mediainfo.dll and put it into the program folder.. it will just work without problems in my program.. try it out.
download this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/files/binary/mediainfo/0.7.63/MediaInfo_CLI_0.7.63_Windows_i386.zip/download
take the MediaInfo.dll out of the zip and put it into my program folder (replace the old .dll)

3) As booker said, 7.6.3 works better for him maybe for you too, download this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/files/binary/mediainfo/0.7.63/MediaInfo_CLI_0.7.63_Windows_i386.zip/download

PS: I will downgrade to 7.6.3 i guess, also send me the full mediainfo for one of the shows that does not fetch right (FULL MEDIAINFO, with audio! and subtitles (if existing))

Oh, and in the next update ill maybe add a auto-updater.. makes this all easier. (It will probably have Nightly and Stable channels)

Did you zap the "data.db" file in the program directory first? Your media was scanned with the other mediainfo.dll and that info was stored in the .db.... you need to reset/delete that db and do another mediascan with the version of mediainfo you are testing.

edit: Just to make sure... I'm talking about the MyXBMC HTML database.... not your xbmc db.

Answer: No! Copy over your TextureXX.db and your MyVideosXX.db and then use Scrape Library (Manual) to scan it. (Note: Filesize can't be calculated when the videos are not reachable from that computer)

isn't it possible to browse over the network to those location ?

What exactly, filesize thing? Well.. reachable includes over network.

Yes, sorry forgot to tell you to go to "Tools->Debug->ClearQuality Data" But tbh, if alot of your movies really have MPEG Video as format, it wont work anyway.. as i never added that format to my program (WIll be included in next update)

well i need to copy over the xx.db and the thumbnails folder to make it work,
and yes they are all reachable over the network.
i tried that option first but got a screen that i needed to copy the thumbnails folder to the computer running this great tool.
then it works great and fast also

Oh, that, yes i didn't make a over network thumbnail thing yet, had other priorities, but as you just did.. just copy the thumbnail folder into program folder, just like the .DB then it works fine and scans files over network (if reachable)

PS:
Updater seems to work fine now Smile.. next step.. updating the Command line interface. (I also fully dropped support for Auto generation.. for now.., if you still need that.. use a Python script or so and the upcoming Command line)

Big Update:

Important note:

The new Updater, will tell you on start up if there is an Update, you can also go to "Help>Check for Update" to manually do it.
Update channels can be changed in "Options->Settings", select unstable(nightly) or stable there.
If a update is available, it will tell you at the bottom of the program.. then just click there, otherwise it says up to date at bottom.
Sometimes the updater itself needs an update.. (probably.. very rarely).. if so, the updater will tell you that you have to download the installer and just quits itself after that.)

To the CLI (Command line), I added a new parameter "/mysql", if you want to run it in the usual mode. open the .exe with this parameter "....exe /auto", if you use mysql use this: "...exe /auto /mysql"
currently I did not add a way to make it auto open a specific .db file of some folder, but you could just put a MyVideos75.db into C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\

As a last note, the updater is the first of its kind I ever made.. so if something bugs.. please tell me.. the updater should show a error box and write stuff into "updater_errorlog.txt", which can be found in the /updater/ subfolder of the program folder.

Another note:
My Server provider goes down on the night of 13.09 to 14.09, arround 22:00 to 06:00 (Central European Summer Time)

Hmmzz good call.. I deleted the generated folder.. but I did not actually kill the db file.

So killed the DB, Cleared Generated, Updated to latest version.

The latest version fixed the missing MPEG2 graphic.

Thanks.
