WASAPI Causing errors in log - mysticpete - 2013-04-08
Hi all
Loading a fresh install of XBMC Frodo 12 and all is going well until I set the Audio to WASAPI HDMI, I then get the following errors on starting XBMC, any help would be appreciated.

22:52:01 T:17340 ERROR: CAESinkWASAPI::InitializeExclusive: Failed to initialize WASAPI in exclusive mode -2147024809 - (E_INVALIDARG).

You likely have missed enabling Exclusive Mode in the audio control panel for the device. See the sticky at the top of the Windows Support subforum on Frodo audio.
Removing the log snippet as you have correctly provided links to your log.

Thanks DDDamian, will read through that link again as I used it once before very successfully to clear up an issue.
