HDMI Wake Up - smithgt - 2013-04-19
I've setup my PI, to my TV via my Sony amplifier, that supports HDMI switching.
However, if I switch to another source on the Amplifier e.g. PS3 or XBOX, when I switch back to XBMC in the Pi I can't get any image on the TV without restarting.
Is there a setting I can use to keep the Pi awake?

Long shot, but try editing the /boot/config.txt file and adding the following to the end
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_driver=2
I had problems getting my pi to work with HDMI and this worked for me. Might not be the same for you but give it a go.
