DVB-T TV Tuner Stick - which one? - tma1102 - 2013-04-21

Hi all!

I'm going to be getting a Raspberry Pi and installing XBMC on it. I will need it for two things:
  • Watching catch-up TV (BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD etc.)
  • Watching live TV, via a TV Tuner USB stick

The catch-up TV shouldn't be a problem for XBMC, I am led to believe. I will need to buy a TV Tuner stick for watching live TV and this is where I'm not certain.

Are there any known good TV Tuner USB sticks for the Pi that are available in the UK? Are there any tutorials on how to set them up?

I am tempted by this TV tuner stick and if it works, it seems like a good deal http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-2011-FREEVIEW-DIGITAL-TV-TUNER-USB-DONGLE-CARD-DVB-/270745136883#vi-content

Anybody's input would be very much appreciated indeed! Smile

If you want HD channels the I believe this is the only one to get

Though I have no idea at all if it would work with a pi
