Yeah, the widget itself seems to work I'm confluence. The other thing that could possibly work would be to copy/borrow the recently added section from confluence, see how that works, and implement it over the top of or instead of the current widgets. They seem to do very similar things, at least from what I can see.

I finally got round to testing this out and although I could not get 1channel to work for the .strm files I used an alternative that I had used in the past which is called "what the furk" which allows strm files to be scraped into the local xbmc database. I have to say it worked with no problems at all for me, selecting from the widgets allowed me to play the file just like it does from the normal library. So it may be that the 1channel plugin has issues or something else but as I cannot get it to work I can at least confirm to you that strm files can be played from the widgets like regular files. Perhaps give the plugin I mentioned a try, and if that works it must be the 1channel plugin.

Those options are working fine for me, maybe it would be worth starting with a fresh guisettings.xml in the userdata directory...you can always backup up your older one first. But sometimes I find old things are kept in there that *may* cause strange side effects.

I don't know why the playlists won't load. It was working fine in Frodo and I've enabled debug mode to see if it's an issue with the randomandlastitems script but apparently everything is working fine according to this line:

I actually fixed this by going into the Startup xml and replacing all the $ESCINFO with $INFO

Actually there is a setting in the skin under add-ons that does exactly this: toggles TvTunes on/off, but guess what! It is not working. Switching it on/off is not responding. This setting works perfectly well in Confluence. A screen-shot of the setting's location:

Without this setting working properly the alternative would be turning TvTunes off within the add-on itself, which will only turn the music off whilst browsing the library (if the user goes into Info pane, the themes will start playing of course). A screen shot of that setting:

2) Extras button is not visible (only Frodo): there is a duplicity in item 4 in the DialogVideoInfo.xml that apparently is preventing VideoExtras from doing its job due to the Extras button not being present (only Frodo). Also I noticed "M" brings up a quicknav, this seems to be a function specifically in the 1080p skin, if someone could tell me where I can change the mapping for that function that would be great, since I would like to map it to my remote but that would require a different key combo
