Ouya xbmc.log missing?? - rogerthis - 2013-06-14

I have the latest Ouya firmware from ODK 1.0.5 and Firmware 1.0.298. And that latest XBMC libstagefright build http://mirrors.xbmc.org/test-builds/android/xbmc-20130604-249ada1-Gotham_alpha4SF-armeabi-v7a.apk

There no log file in sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/cache/temp/xbmc.log

In fact there is not cache directory within org.xbmc.xbmc, only a files directory.

I enabled the debugging, but can't find that file. I also tried the XBMC log upload addon, but that didn't work either.

Anyone got any help on this?

Same case here, i read about a solution with root access and ADB, but doesnt have time to check at the moment... Look for it on the libstagefright thread.

To answer my own question:

First you need to setup the OUYA ODK on your PC\Mac:
https://devs.ouya.tv/developers/docs/setup

Then connect your Ouya to your PC\Mac using the micro USB cable.

Then root your Ouya:
http://www.reddit.com/r/ouyadevs/comments/1fx66y/how_to_root_your_ouya/

You will then find the log file here:
/data/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/cache/temp/xbmc.log

Hi hope this helps somebody,I've been having the same problem that TMP files from Kodi literally killing the storage space on
my Ouya,so on Ouya play store I downloaded an Ouya file reader called filepwn,in preferences enable, and then you'll be able to find the tmp files in Kodi and delete.
