RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Indy_star - 2014-01-03 For an HDhomerun, is there a way for PTVL to pick next available tuner? Right now, my tuner is hard coded in settings2.xml which works, but wonder if there is a better way, as I want to share the config between multiple devices. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-01-03 ::Update:: I'm writing a caching system for BCT's to write to file all BCTs found and fill channels off that info... This will speed up channel building (First run might be slow, while building "cache list")... RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Redkiller223 - 2014-01-03 Using Youtube commercials on auto causes black screen, empty channels. Works fine when using a set number. LOG Local commercials seems to do the same thing with auto on. LOG But local with a set number doesn't cause crashes, just no commercials..... Commercials are on SMB and in mp4 format. Also don't have Commercials when I select Internet and have donor details entered. https://gist.github.com/anonymous/8246896 I don't know what to put in "Trailers", could you explain that for noobs please. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-01-03 (2014-01-03, 23:27)MovieJunky Wrote: Channels are being parsed and I can use PTV fine, but there are no local commercials (set to 3) in-between movies. BCT's was a beta code push, still some work needed... I will try and finalize code soon... RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - MovieJunky - 2014-01-03 Ah okay, cool work nonetheless! Funny how everyone wants to put commercials back into the system ha RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - MovieJunky - 2014-01-04 Luna, would you happen to know an answer to my question regarding changing the audio language within PTV? The regular hotkeys (xbmc commands) do not work, those being AudioNextLanguage or XBMC2: Language. It's working perfect outside of PTV, just not inside. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-01-04 (2014-01-04, 01:22)MovieJunky Wrote: Luna, would you happen to know an answer to my question regarding changing the audio language within PTV? The cache applies to Local and Internet BCT's but not Youtube. First run will create local BCT cache and may take longer then your normal channel building, on all runs after that BCT's will build off it's local cache... Which should speed things up... since query and parsing media is skipped. I also removed the "all" feature since it's overkill and slows down PTVL to much... Also something I should mention is to disable "debugging" in PTVL when your not experiencing problems. Debugging creates a lot more log entries then needed and can slow down your system... Only enable when you want to recreate a bug and send me a log... RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Dumyat - 2014-01-04 When you switch channels does the dynamic artwork option need to be enabled to get the poster and logo to show up for local movie files? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-01-04 (2014-01-04, 20:38)Dumyat Wrote: When you switch channels does the dynamic artwork option need to be enabled to get the poster and logo to show up for local movie files? Dynamic artwork means that while you scroll through the EPG the infocus (highlighted) media's artwork is displayed and changes. Instead of just displaying the artwork for what is playing. So Yes it needs to be enabled to work, but if you don't have the artwork stored locally it won't display, you need to run artwork downloader script. for LiveTV you don't need the artwork stored locally, but you need to enable api's inorder to parse and store show data. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Dumyat - 2014-01-04 (2014-01-04, 20:54)Lunatixz Wrote:(2014-01-04, 20:38)Dumyat Wrote: When you switch channels does the dynamic artwork option need to be enabled to get the poster and logo to show up for local movie files? Thanks Luna. Yeah, I understand what you are staying and the concept of having dynamic artwork enabled. I know it might have sounded a bit of a weird and dumb-ass question to ask, but there was a reason for asking. Well, 2 reasons actually. 1) I'm not getting any posters/logos showing up for local movie files, but I am getting posters for my local TV shows, but not the logo. I do have all the necessary artwork stored locally for both Movies and TV shows. 2) When I enable API key for TMDB, PTVL is successfully parsing/updating all channels and opening with no problem. Artwork is also shown, but after 30 seconds or so, I'm getting a screen freeze and unable to move anywhere within the guide. Also, I've noticed that while I'm getting movie posters, I don't seem to be getting them for all. I've never seen this happen before, so it's quite un-usual. The only way I can exit is to close XBMC down completely via CTRL/ALT/DEL option. So I have 2 different probs, so guess you would want 2 different logs? Log when Dynamic artwork is not enabled, but no posters/logos showing : http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=105840 Log for when dynamic artwork is enabled, but I'm getting screen freeze/crash : http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=105847 Also, updated to latest build today. Been really scratching my head about this one, but if I scratch it anymore, then for sure I wont have any hair left! RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-01-04 (2014-01-04, 22:07)Dumyat Wrote:(2014-01-04, 20:54)Lunatixz Wrote:(2014-01-04, 20:38)Dumyat Wrote: When you switch channels does the dynamic artwork option need to be enabled to get the poster and logo to show up for local movie files? Thanks, I need you to enable debugging in XBMC, and also in the "misc" option in PTVL settings... Please recreate the dynamic artwork enabled freeze bug, so I can find out what the problem is. your other problem sounds like just a skin issue, hope you can understand my primary goal is to finish major features and then turn to cleaning up skin and interface problems... I normally do a search of the thread first anyway to see if any other users have had the same issue, but couldn't see anybody else reporting this, so maybe thought it was unique to me, or possibly more likely something I may have been doing wrong.(2014-01-04, 22:07)Dumyat Wrote:(2014-01-04, 20:54)Lunatixz Wrote: Dynamic artwork means that while you scroll through the EPG the infocus (highlighted) media's artwork is displayed and changes. Yeah, I did enable debugging in PTVL as well as XBMC in the first instance, but for some reason the log uploader was giving me a script error......Grrrrrrr! Will try again and post the log when I have it. Thanks again |
