C:\Users\Asa\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\script.pseudotv.live

Is there a cache within XBMC?

This time around, no matter how many smartplaylist channels I put it, it says no channels configured

How can I have installed it wrong? I followed your post to the letter, even going one further and removing XBMC install, XBMC related folders. Complete clean full install.

When your app auto-tunes, it picks up all meta information and applies it to the EPG. That's fine. But when you import smart playlists, it misses most of the scraped information, but some files get the information.

Now, if there was a problem with the scraped data, regardless whether it's Auto-Tuned, or put in manually vis smart playlist (As you say, PSTV gets the info from the scraped date), it wouldn't have any meta whatsoever for those files.

So, how come I only have issues with the meta not displaying correctly when using PSTV (sometimes it does display, but ONLY if PSTV auto-tunes the date) but not anywhere else in XBMC, even AFTER a fresh .exe install.

It doesn't work for you. Sorry. Now move on and stop harassing the guy. He's done an amazing job putting this together, but sometimes shit doesn't work for you. Find another alternative.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone succeeded to get pseudotv live to work under ubuntu 14.04 to autotuning pvr.
In ubuntu 12.10 it worked great, but in 14.04 I keep getting

FATAL: script.pseudotv.live-TVOverlay: FATAL ERROR: Unable to find any channels. Please go to the Addon Settings to configure PseudoTV Live.

(pvr is tvheadend).
thanks for any help about it...

Different PC, new install of XBMC. Go figure.

http://i59.tinypic.com/xf83gn.jpg

Channel 1 (8 Out of 10 Cats) manually added via PSTV channel GUI, added the channel as a show. - 8 Out of 10 Cats (with full meta information)

Channel 2 (C4) manually added custom playlist - 8 Out of 10 Cats S01E01.strm (no meta information)

These episodes are exactly the same episode, as I only allowed one episode to get scraped. Obviously XBMC has scraped the show because the meta is showing.

I wish I would have clicked this link earlier. My issue is the same as this guy, judging by the image custom playlists (.strm, MKV,AVI's) are just showing the link, rather than the meta information. But If you let Auto-Tune parse the files they show correctly (I think)

And for the record I didn't harass anyone, in fact I was on the receiving end of bad attitude, too many exclamation marks and snide comments for trying to explain a problem that obviously exists

Acelove,
I'm not sure about what you are asking. And I don't mess with strm files but if you have a custom playlist, go take a look at that an see what type you have. as far as set up as "tv shows" or " episodes" it should be episodes. Again I may be totally off with this as I don't mess with strm in a custom playlist.

We never even got to the level of figure out your problem, since you insisted you were running the latest code (which you weren't) and Lets not forget you were posting incorrect screenshots for me to examine!!

Maybe if you were a little more receptive to the information I was presenting you with... we could have diagnosed your problem. My use of exclamation points is there to Drive home my statement so that you take the time to comprehend what i'm saying.

After all how many times can I tell you you're running old code, when you insist you're not (WHEN YOU ARE!). Why argue with me?

The first 2 images I sent you
Quote:he EPG in PSTV isn't displaying the names correctly, it's showing the files names, not the scraped information from XBMC. The problem is that it's half working, as you can see from the images, below, some files show the correct information, whereas the rest don't

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=D8...oto%2c.jpg

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=D8...oto%2c.jpg
The odd thing is, when I reset it, have PSTV auto create the channels, the information displays correctly. Unfortunately with auto mode, it won't let me use smart playlist, it just ignores them. Even if i try with other auto movie genres, then it crashes.

we're not broken links, they shown clear issues and I explained clearly, in fact someone not long before posted the exact issue. http://1drv.ms/1pQCbtS, But instead you jumped down my throat about the versions. I had said that I didn't just uninstall, but completely removed XBMC from this machine and re-installed everything, yet you still kept going on about versions even though I posted some images (that probably got broken, something to do with OneDrive (which I might add, you didn't say anything about the images being broken until way way way later), I actually thought you was trying to piss me off.

All I said was
Quote:I don't have any other files to install, execpt the one I downloaded this morning at 11.50 am. This is the version you've just posted. The last one it was impossible to add your own custom playlists, as you stated the other day, it was locked out until the next patch, which I got this morning."

and then you started getting testy with me for no reason
Quote:I don't have all day to argue with you, All i'm saying is...
I didn't even say anything, I was extremely confused when you said about versions, because I had removed my install prior and the Zip was the only thing that I had downloaded.

Quote:OK, fresh installed it, same issue (although it'd not crashing now Smile )

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=D8...oto%2c.jpg

As you can see in the image, it auto-tuned the TV, Are You Being Served? highlighted, if you look a few lines above it, you'll see the same show, only it has no data with it. It's really odd lol

You didn't even say the link was broken, you said you couldnt see "Are You Being Served" I was like WTF, is he trolling me? Sad

Anyway, this got way out of hand for no real reason, except impatience.

I tried as best as I could to explain the problem, you wasn't really for listening the first time around, because you would have noticed the image posted by
Quote:mrpcpro instead of the names of the show, in the EPG it shows SMB:
http://1drv.ms/1pQCbtS
was pretty much identical to the first image that I posted (that wasn't broken, still isn't)

@acelove, I told you, you're running old code... you said no i'm not and began to argue with me... why are you arguing with the dev?? if I say you are running old code, shssh you best believe it!!

LOL, you can't drop it... nor can you admit you're doing something wrong... Maybe you keep on installing an old file?, or not downloading it from the link in post 1?... I dunno... But congrats for being added to my ignore list!

As for the filename issue that was fixed after mrpropc brought it up!

Whoopy do. Ego on this guy is insane. It'll get fixed anyway because I know the bug has already been highlighted by another member. Stropy jerk
