go to /addons/skin.aeon (have no idea whats the skins name)/720p and delete any files that start with script.pseudotv

they override the skin files in PTVL

I tried following your instructions both with in XBMC and all the file folders both programs and roaming. No folder contained a 720p just 1080i nor did it have with in the skin folder a pseudotv script.

try in there
it just mean your skin uses 1080i resolution images.

I went ahead and looked, should have mentioned that. Nothing with Pseudotv in the title existed.

Everything has gone pretty smoothly in configuring. The only thing I am struggling with is the "Advanced Channel Rules" when configuring channels. Every time I launch the "Advanced Channel Rules" the box opens but no rules are to be seen or the ability to add rules, so i cant add any specific rules for the channel. The main reason is so I can interleave movies into some of my TV Show only channels. The easiest example is SciFi. All syfy shows with B scifi interleaved into the mix. If there is any help that could be given it would be very much appreciated.ConfusedConfusedBig Grin
Have you tried to press "enter"and then left right arrows when you are on the advanced channel rules box?

did that and it still the same.
but i have noticed that the movies with numbers only or in english that do get populated do show the movie info in hebrew.
its just the movie title in hebrew are not populated at all.

keep in mind that i use playlists with english names and inside it looks for the genre in hebrew. other wise i cannot set a channel to them since it doesnt recognize the genre name in hebrew
does it has to do with regional settings or something?
I use the same method as you do.English playlists-genres in Greek and I can see the title even if it's name is in Greek(All movies scraped with manual nfo's)
When I disable cache all movies and tv shows populated just fine.My only issue is with tv shows episode titles, that's why I thought you had the same problem and disabling cache should fix it.

going back to frodo for the meantime.
i need the previous version for it to work with hebrew titiles.

when this will be sorted, i will upgrade again

I did that several times. I don't know if I'm crazy but is there suppose to be any text in the Advance Settings or not until rules are set. I hit enter and left and right several times then enter again and something came up but not sure what it is I am looking for.

I think that will work thanks for the tip. Another question, I have been trying to add custom channel logos and well they seem over sized when the channel is loaded. I have re-sized them to the 161x109 not sure this is correct but was mentioned in Milkman's manual. When I size them to be smaller, the goal is to contain within each channel black bars of the guide, they don seem to re-size. I have gone and deleted the files for the channels prior to make sure they are updating, After doing so I put the newly sized png into my logo folder and well I cant seem to see a difference in size. It almost seem that the smaller i make them the Pseudotv live seems to blow them up so quality is affected too. I have completely deleted and re installed Pseudotv live but that does not seem to work either. Any guidance would be appreciated.

RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Tonne - 2014-05-29

I recently started using pseudotv live and it is easily becoming one of my most frequently used add ons.
However i have encountered a problem i dont seem to find a proper solution to. I have created a directory channel (directory is filled with about 30 .mp4 files) which for some reason is only playing about 6-8 videos from the directory on repeat. Everything else seems to work fine, although youtube playlist channels also only use just a few of the videos on their respective playlists. Is there something i can do to make a directory channel use all the videos in the directory to build the channel?

usually this is because pseudotv live isn't able to calculate the duration of the video... you can try re-encoding the video or use some type of media meta editor to manually add the duration.
