Tested with autotune and it works greatSmile Nice work Lunatixz!
The only "issue" is that my music tv channels don't use the new " you tube alpha" plugin, like the other "you tube" channels do.

Also great work with the you tube artwork!

Yeah, mymusic handles playback so it would need to change it's code to allow for the new youtube plugin.

Let me know if you have unicode errors or missing data... glad you like the youtube artwork.
Yes I have unicode errors when I add greek channelsBig Grin I think the problem is at music tv plugin.I can see it in it's cache.
Instead of artist or song title it gives me something like this: \xce\xa3\xcf\x84\xce\xbf \xce\xa0\................

@tromy

Thanks for the response. I was under the impression that the dependencies or the built in scraper would do for me and it would be picked up by PTVL (It was working perfectly before I updated). In each movie folder I have extrafanart and extrathumbs folder, no files names as what you described earlier. But the other half is that it is not even pulling artwork from places such as youtube, whereas before it did. I am missing all artwork.

Any other suggestions as to what I am doing wrong, I see that no one else is having this issue so I am sure I am doing something wrong. It all began after I updated everything because I was way behind in updates. Thanks again for any leads.

That's a problem with my musictv which I reported a few days ago.

I suggest to run "Artwork Downloader".Enable in settings to get poster, logo, thumb 16:9 and if anything else u want and then run PLTV.

@Lunatixz,is there a way I can make invisible or change the description of each channel type at the info window?

e.g. Channel 9-Internet tv to make it Channel 9-Internet radio
because I use many internet radio stations with channel type 9

or maybe u create a new channel type for radio?Smile

Its in my code, you would have to edit it.... I'm not interested in renaming the chtype. Also not interested in a radio channel type unless it has a video elements.

I have a channel that I have setup to pull all the videos from a directory, which all the videos are 10 minutes or shorter(some maybe a minute at most). When I exit PseudoTV Live and reopen it, it always is at the same video when it starts, so I am watching the same videos every time. I have made sure in the PseudoTV settings is set to not ignore any videos than are smaller than a certain minute length, but that didn't fix the issue. Has anyone else run into this issue and was able to resolve it? Thank you.

Update: EPG Artwork Solved....sort of.

I did a complete reinstall, mainly because the upgrade to XBMC 13.2 forced me to by deleting everything. Anyway, reinstalled all PTVL and dependencies, still same problem. Then I tried running as admin, which shouldn't matter, and that may not have been the issue. Anyway, I had to force the artwork downloader to download artwork multiple times. For some reason it would say it was done, and I would click ok. Well, It was done and kept canceling itself. So finally I just let it run adn when the popup said it was done, I just left it alone. Most artwork download, a few did not, I think mainly due to the titles not being correctly formatted, although TVDB etc, picked them up just fine.

So hopefully this will help anybody else that has had this issue. EPG really shines now!

Thanks Luna for a great resource. I became a donor last week and looking forward to the extras . Thanks everybody that offered suggestion.

You can open channel configuration and apply to the directory channel the advanced rule "Force real time mode"

I'm just started to get this going and I cannot seem to get the Yify Release plugin to show in the channels. I finally got USTVNow to show up after a lot of researching.

Pseudo autotuned and put Yify at channel # 529, maybe it needs to be lower? It shows up on another PC running XBMC, but I am not sure what process I took to make it work.

Let me give that a try, wasn't sure what that setting was for. Thanks.

I'm in central and the guide is an hour ahead still on the latest dev build. Is there something else I need to do other than add ustvnow channels and look at the guide?

Is this the only related code?

Code:
#UTC LiveTV plugin
UTC_PLUGIN = ['plugin.video.ustvnow', 'plugin.video.F.T.V']

I can't find anything else besides the commented out gmt offset stuff.

Hi Everyone! Great addon here. I have a quick question.

I am currently running PTVL on an amazon fire tv...

In Confluence the skin is OK...some things messed up but usable...as soon as I change to amber or nox....everything is messed up...the background becomes transparent, the videowindow is gone, and the info overlay is way out of wack. How can i fix this?

Also I notice when I change channels... the video/channel number is werid/pixelated/repeating a but of times on the screen...this lasts only a few seconds...any idea why?

Also the now watching images are all empty...even though I have artwork for all my media.

ALSO.... when i launch xbmc I get scrip error pseudo tv....but the program still works when I launch it...should i worry?

Hi Luna,

Minor bug in the new version, It doesn't look like the Valid_ok function in ChannelList.py is setup to handle RSS feeds anymore. I've change the last line in the function to return True if it falls all the way through instead of False and now my rss feeds are populating again. I'm sure you may want to do something a little more sophisticated for the actual release, but thought i'd give you a heads up.
