and premium ustvnow lol but i will try to get that working on my end.
would like to say thank you again for all you have done i think alot off ppl been wanting this for a long time glad someone with the skill set got it done for us Smile.

Futubox supported by chtypes.
Premium support for anything (ustvnow, futubox, etc) is dependent on cooperation with the providers.

BCTs will be added after auto tune is finalized.

If you can... Try adding them all to the same strm file... Let me know if xbmc resolves them from within ptvl.

Upgraded to latest beta. Works fine with default settings2 file. I go to add a Livetv channel that I knew works in stable version but now it just shows a black screen.
Here's the settings2 file with the livetv channel:

- <settings>
<setting id="Channel_1_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_1_1" value="BBCWorldwide" />
<setting id="Channel_1_2" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_2_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_2_1" value="movieclips" />
<setting id="Channel_2_2" value="1" />
<setting id="LastResetTime" value="1382372511" />
<setting id="Channel_1_time" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_2_time" value="0" />
<setting id="LastExitTime" value="1382288414" />
<setting id="Channel_30_type" value="8" />
<setting id="Channel_30_1" value="I30.12444.tmsdatadirect.com" />
<setting id="Channel_30_2" value="rtmp://edge.isearch.to/edge/r0an48lzpf3fd6t swfUrl=http://player.ilive.to/player_embed.swf live=1 pageUrl=http://www.ilive.to/embedplayer.php timeout=15" />
<setting id="Channel_30_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_30_changed" value="False" />
<setting id="Channel_30_time" value="936364" />
<setting id="Channel_30_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_30_rule_1_opt_1" value="ESPN 2" />
<setting id="LastResetTime" value="1382288027" />
</settings>

Here's is the log file:

Any ideas why?

Scilz,

Would I be able to take the rtmp link you have on your streams dropbox and put it in place of my link and it should work?

That's what I would have figured as well. I pasted the link in mine and still got black screen. I tried your strm file as well to test to make sure it works first and it did.

Same thing happened to me with the rte.strm.

I'm running into an EPG issue and don't know if its been solved by the forum yet. I have everything set up the way I want it with an xmltv file listing the program data for 12 live channels that are coming from my HDHomerun. On first start of PTVL the current episode is listed as starting right now:

All the other channels end at the appropriate time (1930) but are cut off from the beginning. This isn't a big deal to me but still not exactly like a cablebox epg.

The problem I have is that if a show that is to come on in the future like Bones at 2000 is selected the current show on that channel will be played as expected (can't jump into the future with live TV) but when I reenter the EPG Bones is now listed as currently showing when of course its not

Image

The only way to reset the shows back to their original times is to restart PTVL, but again the current shows start at the current time and the blue vertical time line doesn't split the show in progress, it just cuts it off from the beginning and leaves the time remaining.

My settings2.xml looks like this:
<setting id="Channel_805_type" value="8" />
<setting id="Channel_805_1" value="I805.28460172.microsoft.com" />
<setting id="Channel_805_2" value="hdhomerun://103C01F4-0/tuner0?channel=qam256:453000000&program=1" />
<setting id="Channel_805_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_805_time" value="164" />
<setting id="Channel_805_changed" value="False" />
<setting id="Channel_805_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_805_rule_1_opt_1" value="FOX" />

I have Default channel times at startup set to Real Time
and Time between channel resets set to Automatic

Any thought?

your missing channel_1_3" value=""
leave the value blank.. your running the new channellist.py which needs a _3 setting for chtype 8

i think he changed it so we need the 1_3 now. when he added the ustvnow support but i never tried chann type 8 till yesterday so im kinda just guessing this is the problem for you guys to.ill test it out and see if it fixes my problem.

First of all if u r using the posted preview there is no support!

The File has been deleted and I will reframe from ever offering such a preview!

Since it has lead to confusion (scilz offering tech support that I gave to him. Which was not to be posted here since it does not apply to my official build and posts that do not apply to my build which will confuse new users!

I know ppl just want to help and mean well. But you have to understand the setbacks this potentially causes me.
