AlJazeera - nickr - 2013-07-18
In search of better news than we get in NZ, I installed the AlJazeera Addon and got an awful picture on Live. .3 Mb/s at 640x360 resolution.
Using the Youtube plugin and going to Youtube live I get the same res, but at about .7 - .8 Mb/s. The picture is far better, but hardly what I want on my 65 inch TV.
Anything I can do to make it better?

My Al Jazerra feeds work fine. However you could try installing the World News Live AddOn. It has a multitude of News feeds which work very well. I use it daily.

The FilmOn (or NotFilmOn) Addons also work very well and have a good choice of News and other channels.
