I don't believe this is possible.

Thanks for the info. I think I've more or less decided to stick with the store version. Just have to watch the affected files on a different XBMC box until this is resolved.

If you looks at commit on github, you would see that the difference between 12.3.2 and 12.3.3 is ONLY disable ac3 / dts.

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say. 12.3.2 would still have to be side-loaded, seeing you cannot install it from the store, and 12.3.3 would be installed through the store. Are you saying that despite 12.3.2 being side-loaded, it would still use the same directory structure as the latest store version, and will therefore just take over the existing library?

yes

Ahh, thanks guys! That means it should be effortless to switch between side-loaded and store app, which actually does make it worth it.

Not sure if am allowed to share this, but here is the link to the best build so fare: Ouya XBMC 12.3.2.
http://dlyv5j2269q7v.cloudfront.net/apps/558fbfcc-4f4e-4f45-b1c5-554791dd3fa3/tv.ouya.xbmc/61334d09-6d70-4afe-b45a-93df78aa6920/K9PHEMpqSNuyYC6AazYy_xbmcouya-armeabi-v7a_12.3.2.apk

Sideload an app, means open browser and download this apk file and in download section install it.... thats all right ? i used to do this during the beta versions of XBMC 13. However they dont appear in home.

will the Version 12 automatically appear in home ?

RE: - oldpoem - 2013-10-12

It would appear in play menu because it was met by ouya requirements. Sideload means install app not through store. You could download and install through browser or copy apk to ouya ad install by package installer etc.

You can download a file manager such as "es explorer" to get it from a usb drive. A lot f people install the dropbox app to get to their apks.

I'm happy to see there is a way around this - but without that I would literally be returning the POS. I bought the OUYA literally just for XBMC - so I wouldnt have to have a fully computer connected in order to run it on my main tv. Without this functionality this things is pretty much useless. Honestly considering returning it anyway now. Extremely disappointed.

Think I'm still within 30 days. If not maybe there is some sucker on ebay.

You're that disappointed that you've lost NOTHING? Cheese and crackers, man. You just can't get it from one simple app store. Remember what people used to do before app stores? They downloaded programs, any program they wanted, from the internet. You can still do that.

freaking... frackin... flsafalasdlfg...

So is this more of a complaint about the Ouya?

RE: XBMC app for/by Ouya released - riceandfajitas1 - 2013-10-19

Onkyo TX-SR606 7.1

I'm getting a problem with certain 5.1 MKVs where I can hear a low level humming in the audio, like during quiet dialogue-only scenes. It's similar to the sound when you turn an old stereo way too high. I'm not blasting the movie audio especially being in an apartment building. I do have my center speaker volume up to hear dialogue over action scenes better.

I've tried SPMC and the nightlies and they do the same thing. I'm not sure if there is something I can adjust in the Onkyo settings.
