I use the 1.3.0.18 and an a previous beta and everything is ok (except béta bugs ^^) but this one... no way.

- I DL the .zip
- unzip
- start Ember Media Manager.exe
and ... voila ^_^

Ha ok, well I would suggest just to try the next version (Dan will post soon) and check if that works for you Smile

I sad yesterday that something was wrong in TVDB settings and now I now what
You can't change any setting for TVDB, the apply button never lights up, the only work around I found is to start write in api key field
Make your changes and clean api field, you are forced to a restart but you get your setting saved
And the leading text is wrong, it's not global setting it's scraper specific

And last, if you unactivate most modules you get massiv errors, I only run with renamer and notification active, all other is off

I'll fix it.

Hmmm, are you sure that there are errors and not tracer logs?

I think the only "x86 only" file is MediaInfo.dll. I will try to build in x86 and x64.

Ok, will look into it and see if I find a solution.

- Ember requires from now on NET4.5 Framework installed! (before NET3.5)
- API Keys for all scrapers are now included in Ember! You can leave all API Key field empty. But you need a own TVDB API Key if you want use EpsisodeGuideURL
- Expert settings for movies are not fully integrated (NO Actor Thumbs, Extrafanart, Extrathumbs)

Changes:
  • Added: .watched files for YAMJ @DanCooper
  • Added: "Protect VIDEO_TS and BDMV Structure" setting. This will leave the VIDEO_TS and BDMV folder untouched (works only with Frodo, in this mode is not possible to save trailers, actor thumbs, extrafanarts or extrathumbs)
  • Added: Expert Settings to allow custom naming scheme like (ie. movie.nfo, poster.jpg, fanart.jpg). You can use multiple filename, separated by comma: movie.nfo,<filename.nfo> @DanCooper

  • Added: new Offline Media Manager (beta) @DanCooper

First of all: Thanks for this great piece of software!

...although I seem simply unable to get any trailers at all.....(using today's (Feb 13, 2014) beta) :/

Options set:
Movie Scraper: TMDB

Image Scraper: TMDB / Fanart.tv

Scrapers General:
Enable Trailer Support (check)
Overwrite Existing (unchecked)
Delete Existing (unchecked)
Preferred Quality: 720p

Trailer Scraper: TMDB (switching to IMDB doesn't work either)
tried both own and no API keys, Preferred Language: en
---

Behaviour:
trying to add trailer to existing movie.
-> Edit movie
-> add trailer (the little green + icon in the movie details window)

-> Ember crashes with error message: Class not registered (Exeption from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))

did I do anything wrong? and if yes, what was it? or is trailers simply not really implemented yet? (if that: sorry!)

Still the same bug for me
I tried to update net framework but it's up to date.
I tried on an another PC but same bug
I'm on windows 8.1 pro

I really don't understand.

Currently, Adobe Flash Player is required, otherwise it returns the error "Class not registered".
But we are already trying to replace the Flash Player by VLC (not everyone likes Adobe Flash).

We have also changed the download process while manually scraping:
The Trailer window give only the (quality) selected link back to edit movie window.
The Download start when you press OK in edit movie window (no status bar atm).

While autoscraping the trailers are downloaded automatically.

And, i know, from time to time, trailer and actor thumbs downloading are very slow. This is one thing i try to fix or improve in next days.

... and IMDB Trailer are broken (damn JW Player). I do not know if we fix it or removed completely.

When trying to download Adobe Flash Player, the site says "Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in." ...so I do what now exactly? (sorry, for being a bit dump on that one. I normally aren't)

If you can see a windows with a white recantgle like this: Your system is OK and we have a bug.

If you can not see the recantgle or the application can not be started/crashed, try to install flash player.
But please try it first without reinstalling flash!

yeah! that's strange!....

so...got it working...well mostly.....long story short:

before you posted the flash test: I had found the 'install system plugin' link on the flash site (which said that Chrome has it included) and did that.
-> had a Flash Player in my Windows Control Panel

--> still didn't work.

---
downloaded your flash test. which crashed.

dug out Internet Explorer, went to flash install site, tried from there.
-> installed the same thing as the system plugin stuff before. did it anyway.

-> tried your flashtest again. ...............which worked..........

--> tried Ember Trailers again..........which worked fine.....(yay!)...no idea why.....obviously my flash had been kind of twisted........but why I had to install it twice....nobody knows....

only problem now: I only get 360 quality trailers.....would like 720p.....

thanks for getting me onto the right track....

720p works, 1080p and higher not.

btw: love the new movie sets and trailers windows! they're just great. so much better than before Smile

EDIT:

so now it downloads the trailer as soon as I click ok in the movie details window. no problem if knowing that. BUT: it doesn't tell the user anywhere. it looks just as if it takes ages to close the window. maybe some information somewhere would be nice? or a download percent bar? just a thought
