RE: Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread - publicENEMY - 2014-10-17

How can i for trailer to be downloaded and not link to youtube? The recent beta version only link to youtube, not download it. How can i force download trailer and if its in youtube, download from youtube or no trailer at all.

thanks.

RE: Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread - DanCooper - 2014-10-17

There is a new "Trailer" tab in the Edit Movie dialog.
But, maybe there is a bug and the trailers can not downloaded.

But we release a new version in 1-2h.

Yay!

What is "Youtube Plugin Trailer Format"?

If i enable this, would emm not download trailer but instead use youtube link as trailer?

Its described in http://wiki.embermediamanager.org/index.php?title=Beginners%27_Guide

But problem i have is that trailer is not downloaded. but instead youtube links is in place. Can i forbid emm from putting youtube links? its either trailer file or no trailer at all.

RE: Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread - brunosso - 2014-10-17

Hi Dan, there is a way to remove "* All Seasons" to season list. I have it in all my series!!

RE: Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread - Dragen - 2014-10-17

I just installed the latest beta, after formating the computer. I have set EMM to use Frodo's naming scheme, and all my art files are named according to XBMC's wiki (poster.jpg etc). EMM does not show any art. I even tried to rescraping a movie to see if it created any new files. But no new files showed up.

Also, I'm confirming brunosso's post. Only "All Seasons" shows up under the season area. No "Season 1" etc show up.

These are two different things:
- Trailer Link in Data Scrapers will fill a link / URL to NFO. If you have enabled "Youtube Plugin Trailer Format", Ember does change all YouTube links to a link that will start the XBCM addon YouTube.
- If you want a local trailer file, you need to enable "Trailer Support" in "Scrapers - Trailers" and also enable one of the trailer scrapers.

The two things have nothing to do with each other.
Disable "Trailer" in global data scraper settings if you don't want trailer links in NFO.

Not yet, but we can add a setting to hide this in the season list.
But "* All Seasons" does only display a complete list of all episodes. So it's easier to find new or wrong epsiodes.

All XBMC file name default settings are consistent with a XBMC database export.
XBMC Frodo (and newer) use:
<stacked-filename>-poster.jpg
<stacked-filename>-fanart.jpg
<stacked-filename>-trailer.*
....

If you use poster.jpg, fanart.jpg, you can add these filename also to the "Expert Settings". Simply add poster.jpg to the poster field and reload all your movies (main menu Tools -> Reload all Movies).
But I would be the poster at Frodo still enabled. So you save in the future both file name and can delete the old sometime.

I don't know why you have only "All Seasons" under tv shows. I need more informations, error log and folder screenshots to check you issue.

RE: Ember Media Manager 1.4.x BETA - Discussion Thread - JCMatos - 2014-10-17

Installed the new version fresh and have the same problem in tvshows. It only displays all seasons.

If I rescrap the series then EMM lists the seasons.

Hope it helps

Can we re use our settings folder when updating? And how about the other temp files, and other things we could keep from previous release?

You can always re use the Temp folder.
Settings.xml and AdvancedSettings.xml should be working if your last installation was not to old or 1.3.x. But always check your settings is something is missing. Sometimes we change the name of an existing setting.

Ok, looks like a bug :-(
I start checking this. I will disable the download link for this time.

Yes, there is a bug with episodes while saving to database, I'm working on a fix.

Please don't use this beta, it does not make no sense atm. Episodes can't save proper in database while first recognising.
