playback on two files has unplayable lag - Zxurian - 2013-09-08 so I've got xbmc live installed and running on a zotac hd-id11 one video file I have is lagged to the point of unplayable. ~1 frame / second, and no audio. the codec information is here http://puu.sh/4lH6z/efb117992f.png INFO screen during playback http://puu.sh/4lHha/446395b978.jpg anyone have any ideas why it would be lagging so much? I can play other HD 12gb video files without an issue RE: playback on two files has unplayable lag - wsnipex - 2013-09-08 without a debug log, I'd take a guess and say your AVR/TV/PC is not capable of HD audio passthrough. Disable DTS-HD and True-HD and try again. RE: playback on two files has unplayable lag - Zxurian - 2013-09-11 so I disabled DTS-HD & True-HD, and now it's playing smoothly. I know that my receiver is DTS-HD / True-HD compatible, but does the miniPC (Zotac HD-ID11) it's running on have to be compatible as well? I thought it was just passing the signal through hdmi, so the minipc itself didn't have to be strictly compatible. RE: playback on two files has unplayable lag - wsnipex - 2013-09-11 the PC must be compatible too. RE: playback on two files has unplayable lag - Zxurian - 2013-09-11 thank you for the education |
