...And a glitch regarding the extra video thumb when calling info panel. MQ5 seems not to be able to show the thumb located in the folder and instead shows a black poster, which should be the behaviour of VideoExtras by design. The thumb will be either the one defined by the user within 'Extras' folder or the default VideoExtras thumb in case there is no user-defined thumb.

I can't choose specific art for collections.. when i choose a collection, in the context menu, i have an option to download art (gui or solo) but it won't let me choose the correct art (21 grams instead of Alien for exemple).
I still dont get and Disc art in main movie menu under collections does anyone else?
False Alarm i was still using FRODO Skin, now im using correct version.

The method I previously used in Aeon MQ4 does not seem possible anymore? In MQ4 I added the arial.ttf font file to these locations:
/.xbmc/addons/skin.aeonmq4/fonts and .xbmc/media/fonts
I then edited the font.xml file from this location: .xbmc/addons/skin.aeonmq4/720p
I added a new section in to the XML file:
<fontset id="Arial Based" unicode="true">
And then I changed only this part:
<name>Font_List</name>
<filename>arial.ttf</filename>
<size>22</size>
</font>
The result being that only the font for list views in MQ4 were changed to support Thai language, for example tracks listed on a music album, or videos listed in the Youtube add-on, the Thai text was then displayed correctly. All the other fonts in the other areas of the system remained as the Aeon defaults etc.
The problem in MQ5 is that the font.xml file has totally changed and there is no longer a section named like: <name>Font_List</name>
The sections are now named things like:
<name>Font_15</name>
<name>Font_17</name><!-- nao usar uppercase -->
<name>Font13</name><!-- para addons -->
So now I don't know which part of the XML file to edit to change the font to arial.ttf for only the <name>Font_List</name> function.
I have the Thai font working OK in the default skin Confluence but not in MQ5.

Hi,
Did anyone find a resolution to this issue as I cannot get Asian fonts to show properly either. If you replace aeon_common.ttf with arial fonts, Asian languages will work with the Movie titles but not within addons etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nope I never figured out how to display Thai fonts in MQ5. I did have it working great in MQ4. If you find a solution please let us know.

You can uses my moded MQ5-602. That i changed fonts.xml and add some thai font for display thai language.

Just replace the default MQ5 fonts aeon_mainmenu.ttf and aeon_common.ttf with the font of your choice. Note that that aeon_mainmenu (if you use the default style) has narrower letters, so your replacement may not look as nice. Also if you change your style you will have to change aeon_mainmenu.ttf as well

There is a bug in the italian translation in the movie set view
In english is "Movie set" and it's been translated in "Imposta filmato" but its meaning is like "Set a movie", so it's wrong.
It shoulds say something like "Set di film" or "Raccolta di film" or "collezione di film".
is it possibile to change it somewhere or we need to wait to an update?
I think the cover flow view is missing two options:
- one for flatting the images (with the cd cover it looks a bit fake)
- one for disabling the scrolling loop (with one or two albums for a given artist it's really strange to see it)
Am I wrong or I'm missing something?

I agree that coverflow needs a fixed list option. I don't understand flatting an image...
Also, I've noticed a bug in the Posters view in the music library, in regards to logos. You'll notice the logo near the center of the screen, overlaid on the album cover, and looking entirely out of place.

For sure flatting is not the right word to say it. I dont' remember which is the term used in the skin.

Yes. I have disc art and fanart for single movies, but nothing in set view.

The translations can come from 2 places. One is the core XBMC which is under your main XBMC folder (language\Italian\strings.po).
The other is in the skin folder (in your userdata addons\skin.aenmq5) and drill down to the strings.po file for your language (language\Italian\strings.po).
Open either/both the files in a text editor, search for the phrase, and edit it as desired. In this case I found it in the core XBMC language strings.po file:
