Line 3 should read like: T:139700865259392 NOTICE: Running on Linux 64-bit (Ubuntu 13.04, 3.12.0-031200rc3-generic x86_64). Or 3.11.4 Please make sure you copy each step. Use a 64 bit distro too. RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - sion - 2013-10-07 thx @gfisher i have see now the problem , i have try new again and get it dpkg: error processing linux-image-3.11.4_0.1_amd64.deb (--install): package architecture (amd64) does not match system (i386) Errors were encountered while processing: linux-headers-3.11.4_0.1_amd64.deb linux-image-3.11.4_0.1_amd64.deb xbmc@xbmc-desktop:~/kernel$ what i can do ?? RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - john.cord - 2013-10-07 no x64 distro RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - noopiex - 2013-10-07 @sion: You are trying to install a 64 bit kernel on a 32 bit installation. Either re-install an x64 image, or feel lucky trying with the latest kernel, which may cause problems with audio: These are for i386 / 32 bit: Code: mkdir ~/kernel and install with: Code: sudo dpkg -i linux-headers-3.12*.deb linux-image-3.12*.deb RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - gfisher - 2013-10-07 Is this a clean install? If yes redo with a 64 bit iso. Choose raring 13.04. The one that says amd64 not x86. If not a new install. You can unplug your hard drive and plug in a 4gb plus USB thumb and install it there to test it out. Unplug the hard disk so you don't break your old important boot drive. (Important step. Unplug it!) You will have to enable USB drive boot in the bios. Then you can try it safely before you convert to x64 13.04 on your main hard drive. Follow the original post again once you install 13.04 raring amd64. Not x86 RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - sion - 2013-10-07 thx @noopiex dont works , cant understand why i have 32 bit how i can get it x64? RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - gfisher - 2013-10-07 @sion I think you want to Use this.to install 64bit http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/raring/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/mini.iso Download page: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - locomot1f - 2013-10-07 @noopiex -- here's the bug file that we're looking for -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65254 RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - noopiex - 2013-10-07 (2013-10-07, 02:14)locomot1f Wrote: @noopiex -- here's the bug file that we're looking for -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65254 Yep that's the one. Let's hope more people will report so it gets recognized and, eventually, solved RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - sion - 2013-10-07 @gfisher i say many thx after install mini.iso and follow the new tut from member fritsch im very happy now works all well. i have do all step for step i think my error was x32 version. only think dont works now , is the remote only up and down works with remote not ok. but i think is one other story now for me. important is for me now works all driver and pretty hd sound i say thx to all helpers. and sry for my bad english greetz RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - gfisher - 2013-10-07 @sion no problem. As for the remote I use on 2 boxes. http://www.microcenter.com/product/374265/Enhanced_Multimedia_Remote_w-_Backlit_Keyboard_N5902 It goes on sale all the time. Plug and play. One other third system uses. http://www.hauppauge.com/site/webstore2/webstore_remote-mckit.asp Setup can be ugly sometimes and kernel updates can kill patches. You might have to do keymapping, etc. Google can be your friend/helper. The lenovo is the most trouble free of my remotes, plug it in and it just works. It is a keyboard with multimedia keys. Good luck. RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - sion - 2013-10-07 thx @gfisher , i have watch in the lirc.conf now works the remote , i have add now one HD Movie ,i think works. i will post mine logs again pls watch if u found errors. http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203449/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203450/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203451/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203457/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203459/ and here mine AS.xml not sure is all ok http://pastebin.com/KBCQDRaf greetz RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - bohregard - 2013-10-07 When I load XBMC and choose a video file my XBMC freezes and I have to manually shut down my pc. Any thoughts? Here are my logs: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203680/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203684/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6203687/ |
