Sorry for bringing the old thread back.
I also have a 2009 Mac Mini and I want to control my Sony TV via CEC. It is currently connected using Mini DVI port to DVI adapter to DVI to HDMI cable into my Sony TV. I have a non-branded RS6 type remote which controls XBMC (using this guide).
Will the Pulse 8 HDMI-CEC adapter add CEC support to my XBMC setup?

Friends, I would like to know if this product (Pulse 8 HDMI-CEC adapter) can connect to my tv simply connect to the mac mini or resume from hibernation.
