RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - ajames48 - 2014-02-27 worked great thank you very much RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-07 @ajames48 - i am unsure what you did to fix it ... but can you revert it and see if this build also fixes your crash? That would be a big help because nobody of us can reproduce the crash but it was reported a second time here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=187355 Please test this build: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/test-builds/osx/x86_64/xbmc-20140306-5b44431-sdl-fix-test-x86_64.dmg RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - dergit - 2014-03-22 Unfortunately, XBMC has basically become unusable for me. It crashes almost every time I try to play a .mkv file... I've tried 12.2, 12.3 the 13 betas, a whole bunch of nightly builds, the fixes in this thread, disabling hardware decoding... I'm desperate and begging for help... Here's the most recent crash log... http://pastebin.com/vPRuzwkL I use a 2012 Mac Mini and OS X 10.9.2. My sound card is a Metric Halo 2882 and my display is a 27" Thunderbolt display... if that makes any difference whatsoever? RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - soulss - 2014-03-28 Howdy, y'all. I've read much of this thread and have a similar issue, in that XBMC is unstable for me under Mavericks, 10.9.2. In fact, it was working for a bit, but I believe that switching between Window and Full-Screen mode is what has caused it to crash every time it runs now. I believe it did not like being windowed. Error report posted: http://pastebin.com/YGVVadmu I've updated to 14 alpha 1 as suggested in this thread, also to 12.3, and checked last night's daily build.. No luck. I've removed the user folder as well in ~/Library/Application Support. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-29 Please also post the debug log (wiki) RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - soulss - 2014-03-29 This: http://pastebin.com/UYDMfbFJ is from attempting to start XBMC 14 alpha 1. As mentioned, they all crash on me though. Thanks! RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-29 You have configured XBMC for using "iMic USB audio system" . The driver of that soundcard is broken and reports only "0hz" as supported sample rate. Your crash will be fixed in Gotham beta3 which should be out in a couple of days. RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - soulss - 2014-03-29 Thank you! You all are the best! I've been using XBMC since Xbox1 and greatly appreciate your work! Thanks! Unfortunately for me, this is what I get when I unplug the iMic USB and run XBMC 14.0 alpha. Crash report: http://pastebin.com/ZQyKyiBU XBMC log: http://pastebin.com/C02KJrc9 Any help is, again, appreciated. RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-30 Ahhh nice - now you hit another issue which was reported by only 2 other users. Both didn't respond to my test build. Please continue here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=187355 and try the testbuild there and report back if it fixes that crash. RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - soulss - 2014-03-31 Still getting the old kaibosh!! But, here's the logs: http://pastebin.com/fUc3xC7x - Apple Error Report http://pastebin.com/Rf5anGVR - XBMC.log Looking forward to your response! Thanks! RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-31 Please try to change the setting in osx Settings->Displays->Resolution (try "scaled" or "best for display" and see if it makes a difference to that crash). Also in addition please try this test build and post a new debug log (wiki) (it won't fix the crash - but adds a printout in the log file which is important to me). http://mirrors.xbmc.org/test-builds/osx/x86_64/xbmc-20140331-73c3074-sdlcrashdebug-x86_64.dmg RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - soulss - 2014-03-31 It was already on Best for Display. I changed it to Scaled and nothing appears to have changed. Logs: http://pastebin.com/UktxXhfe (Apple) & http://pastebin.com/39zfcPP2 (XBMC) Test build logs (display at scaled): Apple - http://pastebin.com/jWL3WP8T & XBMC - http://pastebin.com/nwb3gRa7 Test build logs (Best for Display setting): Apple - http://pastebin.com/BJBWjkkU & XBMC - http://pastebin.com/p2MLMqTJ Thanks! Looking forward to hearing back from you. Be well! RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-31 Can you please attach your guisettings.xml file to be found in your userdata (wiki) folder RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - soulss - 2014-03-31 http://pastebin.com/7i0U8uSu RE: XBMC v12.2 crashing on OS X 10.9 Mavericks - Memphiz - 2014-03-31 Search for "<width>616192</width>" in that file and replace it with somthing sane - e.x. 1200 or so - save the file and start again. Any idea how this strange window width was generated? |
