RE: Intel NUC - HTPC (Haswell Late 2013 edition) - Camlann - 2013-12-12 I was thinking quite a few times to "upgrade" to a newer Version, but I can actually live with that One My NUC is now dead, I updated the BIOS to V22 from within Windows, after the Reboot it refuses to show anything. Only thing I can see is the Power LED. I even can't ping it, it might hang in an faulty mode and waiting for any inputs.... I've tried the BIOS Recovery Method with removing the Jumper, but that didn't help, so I created an entry in Intels support Community. That frustrates me actually, I had to wait from Oct 29th till today to receive it and now this :-( RE: Intel NUC - HTPC (Haswell Late 2013 edition) - Crssi - 2013-12-12 (2013-12-12, 17:59)zag Wrote:(2013-12-12, 17:53)Camlann Wrote: Well, it's bad as it used to be from Day One on, but I accustomed to it I have a smart control now for a few days... perfect device... no lag at all. You need to select "Microsoft Media Center Extender" as a device to kill a lag totaly. I have set additional device "Microsoft MCE Keyboard" to simply assign alfanumeric and special keyboard chars to desired buttons. RE: Intel NUC - HTPC (Haswell Late 2013 edition) - Camlann - 2013-12-12 I was just reading through zag's Thread, now I think I will buy the new Smart Control, the UI looks really nice, and the Device seems to be good too RE: Intel NUC - HTPC (Haswell Late 2013 edition) - Ravetrancer - 2013-12-13 (2013-12-11, 17:54)micoba Wrote: Finally the Nuc i5 is available in Germany!
