Small problem when changing 1 word - coquex - 2013-11-10
Hello guys,
I´m trying to edit some words from the Spanish (Mexico) strings.po.
I change for example:
msgctxt "#31955"
msgid "TV SHOWS"
msgstr "PROGRAMAS DE TV"
To this one:
msgctxt "#31955"
msgid "TV SHOWS"
msgstr "SERIES DE TV"
But when I start XBMC instead of "PROGRAMAS DE TV" or "SERIES DE TV" now is showing "TV SHOWS".
Don´t know why this put the original language on that titile.
Nothing else change, just the word I edited.
Help please.

Hi !
You probably use some not so good editor which may changes the po file encoding, format, text etc.
Try to use Notepad++ if you are on windows. On Linux, just use vi, nano, kate, gedit

Thank you, that was the problem, I was using Text Edit on Mac.
Notepad++ on windows solved.
