BitTorrent Sync in XMBC? - Watchalot - 2014-01-07

I am looking for a way to sync favourites&settings between two or more tv's, both running raspberry Pi's with openelec xbmc

I have found a dropbox option in xbmc backup but I would much rather use BTsync

Of course BT sync can be run on a Pi, see:

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/build-your-own-cloud-storage-with-raspberry-pi-and-bittorrent-sync/

...but then it is not integrated yet in xbmc itself. Is there a way to accomplish that?

It is even possible to add BTSync to RaspBMC:

but it still looks not as good as it can be... Is there any coder in the room willing to create an addon for btsync?

Any luck on getting btsync on the XMBC based Raspberry Pi (RPI) OpenElec? Im hoping someone will create a plugin for it. I want to be able to use the RPI as an Openelec XBMC media server and a Bittorrent Sync point that can connect to my Drobo FS .
