audio output profile - mrcola - 2014-01-09 Hi Is it possible to have different audio output profiles depending on the audio sources ie. I will be pleased to listen 2.1/2,0 channels from my telly speakers via HDMI cable but would like to switch to S/PDIF if the source is DOLBY or DTS Thanks Regards RW RE: audio output profile - un1versal - 2014-01-09 You can use the Profiles option in XBMC or remap buttons to your remote/keyboard to do it for you. Its actually meant to be used with different users which want different configuration is XBMC so it would work, only its a bit cumbersome, you need switch users for that. The keymap remap its more elegant, though I read somewhere how to do that, but I didnt search for it. But no you cant have different profiles just for audio. RE: audio output profile - mrcola - 2014-01-09 Thanks for your quick reply Is it possible to switch automatically by detecting audio source RE: audio output profile - un1versal - 2014-01-09 I dont think so. RE: audio output profile - teeedubb - 2014-01-09 Here is a bash script I use to automatically change audio outputs on whether my avr us in or off, there is a windows version by another user in the same thread. You could modify it to suit your needs. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=167914&pid=1450528 |
