I realize people ask about this rather frequently, but I searched and didn''t find the answer I was hoping for. In the Plex skin for Roku theres an option to search by first letter, an actual Category ie Genre, Year etc. Are there any skins available that have this option? Or perhaps a not horrific way to add this? Using a remote, so no button presses, and the t9 solution is less than desired imho. So the idea is, sub category, A - Z, pick A, all movies with A are available from this selection, same with tv shows. Thanks for any help!

You can make smart playlists with rules like: title starts with letter a. ect. Add them to favorites or main menu.
You can try my skin Metroid it uses playlists like that if you want to look at example code, but it's a WIP so make sure you know how to remove it if you get stuck.
