After that no commands from the remote work until a reboot and then I can again press only one button. A few of my custom buttons don't work but I can live with that. By the way, how did you come up with that 2nd command? Quote:I have tried adding this to autostart.sh but it seems as if the second line has to be run after the gui is loaded for it to work.Since I leave my pi mostly on all of the time I can also live with having to ssh and executing the command on the odd occasion I have to reboot. Quote:On these latest builds is the OpenELEC settings addon working? On mine it says the addon "is not ready, please try again later", is anyone else getting this? The OpenELEC settings works for me - it's showing as version 0.3.7 with MilhouseVH's latest build. I have noticed in the past that the settings were not working the first time after a new update but a reboot seemed to fix it. @MilhouseVH - It appears that not only was I barking up the wrong tree but I was also in the wrong forest! I got the info to get it working again from here and here. This shouldn't affect the button mapping though, which remote are you using? I have the PI connected to the tv with HDMI and the TV is connected to my 5:1 speakers with an Optical cable. I have set tv audio config to Home Theather. Thanks for the info. I tried hdmi_force_edid but then there was no audio at all when DTS reciever enabled. It might be the TV that is bad at sending the signals via optical. The reciever is DTS capable. However when I play AC3 series I get on the reciever-console "Digital Content" so its working somewhat. But when playing DTS content there is just artificial 5:1 on the console. Maybe its time to upgrade my home theathre setup... Is it better to get equipment where we connect the HDMI cable directly into the reciever? And then send video from reciever to the tv? I couldn't provoke any sync errors with subs after buffering, that I thought had been reported. If this is still happening then I'll need more details about what provokes it. Blu-Ray iso file only show visuliasation - javaboyuk - 2013-12-08 Hi Guys, I have tried this with 3.2.4 and the MH build #0612. Some of my Blu-Ray .iso images will play on my RPI, other will just show it as a "audio" track visulisation thing. On windows runing 12.2 xbmc all the ones I have tried play ok! I have upload a debug log id 94642. If you search for "crash" you should find an example of an .iso file playing. If you search for "bride" you should find an example of it failing! Any ideas? You can boot OpenELEC using an SD card as small as 256MB. Also you can drop the "netboot=nfs" option as that has no purpose. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Milhouse - 2013-12-08 New OpenELEC Gotham build: #0812 (obsolete). RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - User 99401 - 2013-12-08 subtitles work perfect! excellent build!!!! many thanks RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - doveman2 - 2013-12-08 On both my brother's and my own RPi, every time we boot it says "New CEC Adapter detected" even though we both have CEC set to disabled. Is there any way to stop this happening, as it's mildly annoying? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - heniek12 - 2013-12-08 How to turn on subtitles download services in recent builds ? I've read they are now separate addons for each subtitles services, instead of one, but I can't find it anywhere in addons. I found some settings in video -> subtitles, tv and movies, but when I click on either i got empty list and I can't choose "get more ..." option. |
